The Nikon Eclipse Ni-E with C2 Laser Scanning Confocal System combines Nikon's fully motorized upright research microscope platform with a point-scanning confocal imaging system for advanced fluorescence microscopy, optical sectioning, Z-stack acquisition, and 3D imaging. The Ni-E provides motorized control of focus, objective selection, and fluorescence components, while the Nikon C2 adds four-line Coherent laser excitation (405, 488, 561, and 640 nm), confocal scanning, and 3-channel PMT detection for high-contrast fluorescence imaging. The system is well suited for neuroscience, developmental biology, cell biology, tissue imaging, immunofluorescence, and other demanding research applications.
