The EXFO X-Cite 120 XL (XI120-XL) is a 120 W metal halide fluorescence light source for widefield microscopy, fitted with a 5-step adjustable iris. Its pre-aligned Intelli-Lamp gives bright, broad-spectrum excitation with a uniform field of view and a 2000-hour guaranteed lamp life. It runs more quietly than the original X-Cite 120. It connects to the microscope by a liquid light guide, which keeps lamp heat off the specimen. This listing is for the illuminator unit only.
