Olympus U-DICT Transmitted Light DIC Nomarski Prism Slider for BX Microscopes

The Olympus U-DICT is a transmitted light differential interference contrast (DIC) Nomarski prism slider for Olympus BX series research microscopes. Inserted into the DIC slot of a compatible revolving nosepiece and paired with a universal condenser, DIC condenser prism, polarizer, and analyzer, it produces high-contrast, relief-like images of transparent, unstained specimens such as live cells, tissue sections, and microorganisms. A prism adjustment knob fine-tunes contrast and background shade for optimal DIC imaging, and DIC can be combined with reflected fluorescence on a single system.
