The Olympus IX81 is a fully motorized, high-end inverted fluorescence and phase contrast research microscope engineered for advanced biological imaging applications including live-cell imaging, high-throughput fluorescence microscopy, and automated time-lapse studies. Designed with a flexible modular frame and Olympus’ UIS2 infinity-corrected optics, the IX81 is capable of automated multi-dimensional imaging with excellent optical performance, precision, and reliability.

This configuration includes all essential motorized components, a left-side camera port, and a right-side magnification changer. It also supports integration with Olympus’ ZDC (Zero Drift Compensation) autofocus system (optional) for long-term focus stability in time-lapse and multi-position experiments.
