The Olympus LMPlanFL N 20x/0.40 is a long working distance plan semi-apochromat (fluorite) objective designed for materials science and industrial inspection. Its 12.0mm working distance provides generous clearance for uneven, bulky, or delicate samples, reducing the risk of specimen and objective damage. Excellent flatness across a wide 26.5mm field number and high transmission from 400–700nm deliver sharp, high-contrast images, and the standard pupil position supports DIC and polarization. It is designed for use without a cover glass on Olympus BX and MX series microscopes.
