Yokogawa CSU21 Spinning Disk Confocal Scanner Unit

The Yokogawa CSU21 is a spinning disk confocal scanner unit for fast optical sectioning and live-cell fluorescence imaging. Built on Yokogawa's dual Nipkow disk design, a pinhole disk paired with a matching microlens disk, the CSU21 scans the field of view with many laser beams at once, delivering real-time confocal imaging with significantly lower photobleaching and phototoxicity than single-point laser scanning confocals. As a camera-based confocal that mounts to the camera port of an existing microscope, the CSU21 is a cost-effective way to add spinning disk confocal capability for live-cell, time-lapse, and 3D imaging.
